Greetings Ellington Community!

I hope your week was wonderful! As we embrace the beauty of fall and look back at the incredible week we've had, we want to take a moment to extend our continuous celebrations and appreciation for Hispanic Heritage. As we head into the new week, our goal is to continue our journey of learning, understanding, and fostering inclusivity.

We are appreciative of the invaluable time and insights generously shared by our distinguished alumnus, Lamman Rucker, who graduated from our esteemed theater department. Alongside his esteemed colleagues, Jay Barnett and Lawerence Adjah, they graced us with their presence to engage in a thought-provoking discussion on a topic of paramount importance – Black Male Mental Health. Their visit was a pivotal part of their inspiring "Just Heal Bro Tour." Their collective wisdom and experiences shed light on a subject that deserves more attention and understanding, and we're profoundly thankful for their commitment to fostering positive change and awareness.

Furthermore, the students came together and ended the week with another heartwarming #FeelBetterFriday! This Friday students enjoyed a special performance in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The band's performance left the audience in awe with their soul-stirring melodies and infectious beats. The energetic music and lively atmosphere made it a memorable time for all students.
