I hope you had a fantastic week! I want to take a moment to express my enthusiasm and gratitude for what has been an exceptional arts and academic week at Duke Ellington. The atmosphere has been buzzing with the excitement of learning, and it's evident that our dedicated teachers have been working tirelessly to inspire and nurture our students.
We'd like to express our gratitude to the Kendra Scott team in Georgetown for allowing the Duke Community to explore and shop your exquisite collections. Our visit to the Kendra Scott Georgetown Store was a memorable experience, and we are incredibly appreciative of the opportunity.

We are delighted to wrap up this school week with an exciting event that promises to be both inspiring and impactful: The VA Faculty Alumni Show | Benefit Auction. This special occasion celebrates the artistic talents within our community. This event will showcase the incredible artistry and creativity of our alumni who have gone on to excel in their respective fields. Furthermore, the students ended the week with an exciting set of events. They kicked things off with Student Government Association speeches and elections, displaying their leadership and commitment to shaping the school's future. Then, on Friday, they experienced a lively performance by DJ Alex Love, who brought the house down with some fantastic music. The atmosphere was filled with joy as students danced, laughed, and shared memorable moments together. It was a perfect way to wrap up the week on a high note, creating lasting memories for all involved.
