Greetings Ellington Community,
This week is Amnesty Week! We encourage all students to use this time to
their advantage and make sure that any missing assignments are completed
and submitted. Not only is this an opportunity to finish off the term strong, but
it's also an excellent opportunity to practice your time management skills and
make sure that your arts and academics are properly balanced. This month is
going to be busy and having all of your work submitted on time is essential.
We are pleased to announce several upcoming events at DESA! On April
6, the public is invited to join us for a free Chamber Music Concert. On April
12, 13, 14, and 15 the Theatre Department presents Animal Farm, a theatrical adaptation of the classic novel.
Then, the Visual Arts Student Exhibition opens on April 14, giving the community an opportunity to view the outstanding works of our underclassmen. Flyers with more details on each of these events are provided below. We hope to see you all there!
Please note that we will be having a Fire Drill and an Emergency Evacuation drill this week. While we can't give the exact date, please review the safety instructions below for the Emergency Evacuation drill so you can know what to expect.
