Greetings Ellington Community,
We had the pleasure of hosting students and faculty from the Cleveland School
of the Arts on Friday for a joint Jam Session with our Instrumental Music and
Vocal Music departments. Joy and pleasure filled the air as nearly 80 students
from each school performed together. We hope to continue this tradition next
year!
Students don't forget to fill out the Spring 2023 Panorama Survey. Your voice is
crucial and the data will be used to fuel our innovation efforts. The survey is
open until March 31st - scan the QR code in the flyer below or click here to fill it
out (the access code is your DCPS student ID).
We sent out an email last week regarding the DCPS Feminine Hygiene Dispensers Initiative. Here's a reminder for students: although the machines require 25 cents or free coins to dispense the products, we are providing free gold tokens in the Main Office for students. Students can reach out to Ms. Stone or the School Nurse to pick up their free tokens! Additionally, we still encourage students to bring their personal feminine hygiene products of choice from home. If any of this is a hardship for students, please reach out to Director Hayden at Donna.Hayden@k12.dc.gov directly.
