From the Principal's Desk 2/13/23

Greetings Ellington Community,

I hope all is well with you all. I want to give a big shout-out and thanks to every Ellington community member who assisted with the first week of in-person auditions. All in all, we had a successful first week this year, and we couldn't have done it without your support.

Congratulations to the Museum Studies Seniors for a wonderful exhibition. I'm proud to see all of the work you've accomplished over the past four years and can't wait to see the places you will go!

We have an exciting week ahead of us, so let's jump right in. On February 17 we have the Vocal Music Black History Month Celebration Concert. Join us for our Black History Month Fashion Show with Saks Fifth Avenue on February 26! Tickets are $135 and can be purchased here. Then on March 1, we're excited

for the community to join us for the Ellington Experience - an encore of the wonderful recruitment performance we did last month to highlight each of our eight art disciplines.

Important February Break Reminder: Schools will be closed for February break from Monday, February 20 to Friday, February 24. No school for students and teachers.
