Greetings Ellington Community,

I trust everyone had a wonderful week! As Valentine's Day approaches, we extend warm wishes to all members of our community for a Happy Valentine's Day. Let's take this opportunity to express love and appreciation to those dear to us.

Additionally, as we delve further into Black History Month, let's remain steadfast in honoring and celebrating the profound contributions African Americans have made throughout history. Their invaluable legacy enriches us all, and it's essential to recognize and commemorate their achievements.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone from our Admissions Team for their dedication and hard work during Audition Week. Thanks to their tireless efforts, we had a tremendously successful week. Their meticulous planning and support have played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and efficient audition process for potential students and their families.

Congratulations to the Technical Design & Production Department (T.D.P) on orchestrating a highly successful flea market this past weekend. Several pieces from the Ellington Custom Shop and Design Vault found new homes, contributing to the event's triumph. The funds raised will undoubtedly be invaluable towards the T.D.P trip to New York. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all T.D.P staff and students who contributed their time and effort to make this event a resounding success.

Furthermore, the Ellington Show Choir had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the celebration of "Mardi Gras Festivities" at the Waterfront. It was an exhilarating experience for our talented performers as they added their musical charm to the vibrant atmosphere of the event. Their captivating performances added to the joy and spirit of the Mardi Gras festivities, creating lasting memories for both participants and spectators alike.
