Greetings Ellington Community,


I trust that each of you had an excellent week, filled with positivity and productivity. We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone in the Ellington community. Your commitment and contributions continue to make our school community vibrant and thriving. Thank you for your ongoing dedication and support.


As we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, let us take a moment to reflect on and appreciate the profound contributions of this visionary leader. His legacy serves as an inspiration, reminding us of the importance of unity, equality, and justice. We wish everyone a Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!



On a celebratory note, we congratulate to the Senior Museum Studies Students for a highly successful Senior Showcase held on Thursday, January 12. Their hard work and creativity were truly commendable, and we are proud of your achievements. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the event. Once again, congratulations to the Senior Museum Studies Students, and thank you to all who made this event a resounding success.


Furthermore, we are excited to announce that our Cinematic Arts and Media Production Department Students, along with a few Technical Design and Production Students, have been granted the opportunity to showcase their original performances at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. This showcase is scheduled to take place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 15th from 11 am to 4 pm. These powerful reinterpretations of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life will be presented throughout the day. We encourage everyone to attend and support our talented students as they present their unique and inspiring works.
