Last week the arts world lost a famed dancer/choreographer, an award-winning musician, and a visionary painter … among many cherished others.
These three men – Louis Johnson, Wallace Roney and David Driskell – indelibly shaped not only the world of art and culture but also the Ellington School.
Their passing is an opportunity to reassess the cultural impact of their contributions and honor their lives. “Louis, Wallace and David … we will always Love You Madly!” says Ellington School CEO Tia Powell Harris.
