Memorial Service for our Beloved Mr. Charles Augins

Dear Ellington Family,

We continue to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of our beloved Dance Department Chair, Mr. Charles Augins.

While a private service is being held by the family, the public memorial will happen in September.

The Ellington Community will have the opportunity to celebrate Mr. Augins's, remarkable legacy during a Memorial Service at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Additional details will be shared in the coming weeks.

We continue to hold Mr. Augins's family, friends, students, and all those he inspired in our thoughts and prayers.
