The String Orchestra, under the direction of Ms. Heather Haughn, invited DESA’s musical partners to participate in a video for the #TakeTwoKnees Black Lives Matter campaign. The video includes students and faculty from Ellington; The Northwest School (Seattle); the Annapolis Symphony Academy (Annapolis, MD); and the Antigua and Barbuda Youth Symphony Orchestra (St. John’s, Antigua). Thank you to Dr. Jo Nardolillo from Northwest School for doing a beautiful job putting the videos together. And thank you to all of the musicians for such a heartfelt performance!
