Policy Reminders 8/28/2024

Greetings Ellington Families,

We are delighted to complete our first day of the new school year which has gone quite well.

To continue our great start please pay attention to the following information

1. Beginning Tuesday, the 27th of August, we will have two entrances open for morning arrival

   a. The R Street (side) door will be open for 9th and 10th graders.

   b. The main door, 35th Street, will be open for 11th and 12th graders.

2. Be mindful as you move through security. The following items are NOT permitted and will be confiscated:

   a. Glass containers of any kind

   b. Aerosol sprays , including but not limited to perfumes

   c. Open containers of water or any other liquid (sealed, unopened plastic bottles are fine &

    empty water bottles are allowed as well.)

3. Honor the dress code - all day long -  Ellington Student Policies

   especially:

• No bare midriffs or chest, backless tops, strapless tops, or beachwear.

• No transparent or low-cut outfits.

• No exposed undergarments. Appropriate undergarments must be worn throughout the entire school day.
