Congratulations to the Executive Director of the Stax Music Academy, Isaac Daniel Jr.! Mr. Daniel is the son of Ellington Assistant Principal and Instrumental Music Chair, Isaac Daniel and clearly takes after his father! Isaac worked as a recording engineer on The Count Basie Orchestra’s, Basie Swings The Blues, which won a GRAMMY for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album at the recent 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
