The celebration, which took place on September 30, 2022, featured an interview with Harvard Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University Dean Tomiko Brown-Nagin by the Librarian of Congress Dr. Carla Hayden concerning Dean Brown-Nagin's book, "Civil Rights Queen: Constance Baker Motley and the Struggle for Equality." The event also featured musical performances by the Duke Ellington School of the Arts Concert Choir, Patrick Lundy & The Ministers of Music, and the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Quartet.
