ROB BLOUNT

Biography

Rob Blount teaches Sight Singing I and Music History
and Literature I Classes.
Received his Bachelor of Music Degree from The
Catholic University of America in
2009 where he studied Bassoon Performance and
Collaborative Piano in
Chamber Music. In 2007 received his teaching
certification in the Dalcroze method from The Juilliard
School of Music. Past teachers include Marilyn Neely,
Thomas Mastroianni,
Francis Conlon and Julian Martin. I believe it takes
courage to lead, high standards
and a willingness to learn to not follow, and above all
an impeccable character
to make a difference in todays environment as we are
all teachers.
