Biography
Donna Hayden has a passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of our youth. She holds a MA in Educational Psychology and is a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT). As a mental health and substance abuse therapist, of all ages, for more than 20 years, she feels the need to reach the youth in the educational system. She has been an educator in the classroom for over 12 years. Currently, she is the Director of Administrative Operations at Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts in Washington D.C. In this role, she is able to implement effective support mechanisms for enabling our teachers and youth to express themselves in a positive and constructive manner while supporting learning.
She believes, ‘it’s not what you say but what you do’.
